In addition to visits to the practice, we offer video consultations. We currently work with the provider www.redmedical.de, which is certified by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV).
If you would like a video consultation, please book an appointment with us by phone or e-mail, giving your e-mail address or mobile number. We will send you a link to the video consultation to this e-mail address or mobile number, which you open on a device with a camera (e.g. smartphone, laptop). When both participants are connected to the provider in a virtual consultation room at the agreed time, the encrypted (peer-to-peer) connection is established.
Please note that, by its nature, not every diagnosis can be made reliably by telemedicine. Personal contact may still be necessary (e.g. to listen to the lungs). According to a decision of the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA), a sick note for an initial 7 days can now be issued during a video consultation; prescriptions or referrals such as physiotherapy cannot be issued. These always require personal contact between doctor and patient.
