Dear patients,
the pandemic and technical progress have not passed us by. From and during January there will be some changes in the practice.
1. Change of opening hours: from 10.01.2022 the practice will be closed on Wednesday afternoons until further notice (except for vaccination afternoons, which will be announced here and in the online appointment calendar).
2. Family medicine and orthopaedic (or physical medicine) appointments can be booked via the online appointment calendar. After booking, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. We would be delighted if you used it! If you want to cancel an appointment booked via the online calendar, you can do so easily.
3. All patients with an appointment can check themselves in at a terminal in the practice. You only need to insert your health insurance card or enter your name on the touchscreen (for privately insured patients). You can then update your contact details such as phone number or e-mail. You are then automatically added to the waiting list of the doctor you are booked with and can take a seat directly in the waiting area outside the doctor’s room. We would be delighted if you used this too, as it helps us keep your contact details up to date. Unfortunately, phone numbers or e-mail addresses are often out of date and we have difficulty reaching some patients.
4. Several contact forms for GDPR-compliant, end-to-end encrypted data exchange will be set up on the website. In future, prescriptions (long-term medication), referrals etc. can be ordered online. New patients with a suspected rheumatic disease can also register via a secure form and send their findings. Other medical institutions such as care homes can also send requests in compliance with data protection. We see this as a good way to replace the insecure fax.
